Reported Crop Circles for the State
of California -
Fairfield, Solano County (July 11, 2003)
On July 11, four teenagers claim credit for hoaxing the Rockville, CA formation nearly two weeks after that formation is reported, and as evidence for this, they show a local reporter a poorly-made double circle hoax. Their story though is spread widely through the media primarily through the zealous efforts of the one local reporter (to whom the teens went to) that broke the story - even though the teens story was discredited by the local District Attorney and through analysis of the teens’ statements by researchers.
